However, access to fresh water is a luxury that many people around the world do not have. With the growing challenges in many regional areas, access to clean water remains a significant challenge, especially in remote communities.

DAS Awards 2025

It’s another year of “DAS Exam” (Deutsch- Australischer Sprachverein) Awards Presentation for the German learners of WA. The Exam has been offered to students for around 60 years and is part of the WAGBA cultural support program. As such the “DAS Exam” is supported by the Association financially and by means of contribution to the annual award ceremonies.

Christine Reger is such a teacher, who was deservedly recognised for her outstanding dedication to teaching German to the next generation of leaders.

Industry Leaders, Ministers, and Community Gather for a Milestone Event

WAGBA members and friends were delighted to be invited to celebrate the grand opening of HOSCH International’s new headquarters and training centre in Osborne Park on 11th July 2025. The event brought together more than 150 guests from across the mining industry, including ministers, mining professionals, WAGBA members, suppliers, and contractors. Guests enjoyed a relaxed cocktail-style celebration with live DJ music, German beer, gourmet food, and plenty of networking opportunities throughout the afternoon.
