A Golden Start to 2025

WAGBA’s 2025 was ‘minted’ with a New Year’s Reception held at the Perth Mint on 12th February. The reception provided an outstanding opportunity for some 70 attendees to mingle, network and kickstart 2025 in style.

Riverside Revelry: WAGBA’s Festive Finale

It was a cool and breezy night when some 85 WAGBA members and friends gathered on the 16th of December to celebrate the joyous occasion of the WAGBA 2024 Christmas Party. Attendees were once again delighted by the scenic Swan River views at Matilda Bay this year, where they savoured delectable shared platter meals paired with expertly selected wines by the team at Bayside Kitchen, complemented by desserts from longtime WAGBA friend and Life Member Claus Paulus of Miss Maud.

Celebrating Spring with Tradition

WAGBA members and friends gathered on the evening of 30th October to celebrate spring with “ein Deutsches Spargelessen,” otherwise known as the German White Asparagus Dinner, at Juniper & Bay in Como. Attended by around 40 guests, the dinner was graced by the presence of the former Honorary Consul of the Federal Republic of Germany and former WAGBA President, Bill Hassell AM, and his wife, Sue Hassell, as well as Torsten Ketelsen OAM, as esteemed guests. The event provided an excellent networking opportunity in a relaxed setting for all attendees with ties to Western Australian-German businesses.

Set for the Financial Year 2024/25

The WAGBA Annual General Meeting (AGM) for 2024 was held on 15th October at the Boardroom of Ketelsen Enterprise in West Perth. The AGM was attended by several of the committee members and numerous members of WAGBA.
